Each licensing examination has multiple versions, referred to as forms. While all forms are created using the same content outlines, the difficulty may vary slightly since each form contains different questions. To ensure fairness and eliminate any advantage or disadvantage caused by the specific form given to a candidate, a statistical process called equating is applied to adjust for differences in difficulty levels. The passing score is 70. Any score below 70 reflects how close the candidate was to passing, rather than indicating the exact number or percentage of questions answered correctly.
Two current forms of identification with signatures. The name on the IDs must match the name on the registration. The primary ID must be government-issued, include a photo, and have a signature, while the secondary ID must include a valid signature. Both forms of identification must be in English.
