For salesperson applicants, the exam has 110 questions. The national portion comprises 80 questions, and you need a minimum of 56 correct answers to pass that portion. In comparison, the state-specific portion contains 30 questions, and you need a minimum of 21 correct answers to pass that portion.
For broker applicants, the exam has 120 questions. The national portion comprises 80 questions, and you need a minimum of 56 correct answers to pass that portion. In comparison, the state-specific portion contains 40 questions, and you need a minimum of 28 correct answers to pass that portion.
A passing score for each portion remains valid up to the deadline linked to your course completion date. If you fail to pass both portions within the deadline, complete a new pre-licensing program to be eligible to take or retake the exam. Prior scores expire with the prior coursework.
For the salesperson and broker exams, you are allowed 90 minutes for the national portion and 30 minutes for the state-specific portion.
