The broker exam consists of 11 simulation problems. A minimum passing level (MPL) was set for each section based on the scoring weights for each option, reflecting the performance expected of a ‘minimally competent practitioner.’ Separate minimum passing levels (MPLs) are set for Information Gathering (IG) and Decision Making (DM), representing the combined MPLs across all IG and DM sections. To pass, your total raw scores must be equal to or higher than MPL in both the IG and DM categories.
