How long is the Texas Real Estate Broker Exam?

For salespersons and brokers, you’ll have 240 minutes or 4 hours(150 minutes for the national portion and 90 minutes for the state portion) to complete the examination. The examination will end automatically after the examination time has expired, and you will leave the test center with your official scores in hand.

Texas Real Estate Broker Exam Passing Score

For the broker exam, you need to correctly answer 60 questions on the national examination and 38 questions on the state examination. The national/general portion of the real estate exam is made up of 80 scored items and 5 pretest items that are not counted toward the score. The state law portion of the Texas Broker Real Estate Examination consists of 50 scored items and 5-10 pretest items.
