For the broker exam, you need to correctly answer 60 questions on the national examination and 38 questions on the state examination. The national/general portion of the real estate exam is made up of 80 scored items and 5 pretest items that are not counted toward the score. The state law portion of the Texas Broker Real Estate Examination consists of 50 scored items and 5-10 pretest items.
