What to Know About Your New Mexico Exam


New Mexico Real Estate Exam Passing Score

For associate brokers:

The exam comprises 130 questions in total. Both exams are divided into two sections: 80 questions for the national portion and 50 questions for the state portion. To achieve a passing score, you must correctly answer a minimum of 60 questions in the national section and 38 questions in the state section.

Upon completing your examination, you will receive an official results report.

What You Need to Bring for the New Mexico Real Estate Exam

Two forms of identification. One must be a valid form of government-issued identification (driver’s license, state ID, passport, military ID) that bears your signature and has your photograph or a complete physical description. The secondary form of identification must include your signature and preprinted legal name. All IDs submitted must match the name listed on the Eligibility Letter.

If you are unable to provide the necessary identification, contact (800) 733-9267 at least three weeks before your scheduled appointment to discuss alternative arrangements for meeting the security requirements.

You can bring a basic, non-scientific calculator to the exam center.
