What to Know About Your Utah Exam
Utah Real Estate Exam Passing Score
For salespersons:
The exam comprises 130 total questions, 80 on the national portion and 50 on the state-specific portion. Correctly answer at least 70% of the total questions of each portion to pass.
For Brokers:
The exam comprises 170 total questions, 80 national questions, and 90 state-specific questions. Correctly answer at least 75% of the total questions of each portion to pass.
The examination is divided into two parts: general and state law. If you pass one section of the examination and fail the other, you need to retake only the failed section within six months. If both sections have yet to be passed after six months, you must retake the entire examination.
What You Need to Bring for the Utah Real Estate Exam
Provide 2 forms of ID with matching names, both unexpired and containing a valid signature (e.g., driver’s license, passport, green card, U.S. social security card, or signed debit/credit card). If the name on your registration differs from the one on your identification, you must bring proof of your name change.
