What to Know About Your Washington DC Exam

Washington DC Real Estate Exam Passing Score

For salespersons:

The exam has two portions: general practice and State Law. There are 80 general practice questions and 30 State Law questions. A statistical procedure called equating corrects differences in form and difficulty in determining a score. The passing score is 75%.

Anything less than the passing score of 75 tells the candidate how close he/she came to the passing grade, not how many questions were correct or the percentage score.

For brokers:

The exam contains 75 general practice questions and 40 State Law questions. Equating is also used for this examination, and the passing score is 75%.

You will get your score immediately after completing your exam.
