FLORIDA REAL ESTATE EXAM PRACTICE QUESTIONS

Preparing for the California real estate salesperson exam means practicing with the right material: questions that reflect the actual structure, topics, and difficulty of the DRE exam.

This free, print-ready PDF gives you 25 original practice questions covering all 7 DRE content areas, complete with detailed answer explanations. It’s completely free, no sign-up required, and designed specifically for students who prefer to study offline.

California’s exam follows a unified format; there’s no separate national and state portion, just one 150-question test, and these practice questions are built to reflect that.

What’s in This PDF

This PDF contains 25 multiple-choice questions organized by DRE category, so you can focus your study time on the areas that matter most. Every question includes a detailed explanation in the answer key, not just the correct answer, but why the other options are wrong, too.

The questions are written based on actual California real estate statutes and DRE exam content, not recycled from a generic national question bank. You’ll find California-specific topics throughout, including agency law, disclosures, contracts, and financing, plus a handful of math questions covering commissions, LTV, prorations, cap rates, and area calculations.

Unlike our free interactive practice exam, this PDF is designed for offline use. Print it out, work through the questions with a pencil, and check your answers in the key at the end.

About the California Real Estate Exam

The California real estate salesperson exam is administered directly by the DRE, not Pearson VUE, at five testing centers across the state. It consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, and you’ll have 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete it. A score of 70% (105 correct answers) is required to pass.

The exam covers 7 content areas:

  • Practice & Disclosures (25%).
  • Laws of Agency (17%).
  • Property Ownership (15%).
  • Financing (13%).
  • Contracts (12%).
  • Valuation & Market Analysis (11%).
  • Transfer of Property (8%).

Practice & Disclosures is the single largest section and deserves extra attention in your preparation.
