Idaho Real Estate Exam Passing Score

For salespersons:

The examination comprises 80 questions on national topics and 40 questions focused on state-specific content, and the passing score is 70%.

For brokers:

The examination consists of 80 questions on national topics and 50 questions focused on state-specific content, and the passing score is 75%.

Each real estate licensing exam has multiple versions or forms with varying levels of difficulty. To ensure fairness, a statistical method called equating is used to account for these differences. You will obtain your score as soon as you finish the exam.

What You Need to Bring for the Idaho Real Estate Exam

Two current forms of identification with signatures. The name on both IDs and the registration must match. The primary ID must be government-issued, include a photo, and have a signature, while the secondary ID must feature a valid signature. All identification must be in English.

Primary ID may be:

  • Government-issued Driver’s license.
  • U.S. Dept. of State Driver’s license.
  • U.S. learner’s permit.
  • National/State/Country Identification Card.
  • Passport.
  • Passport cards.
  • Military ID.
  • Military ID for spouses and dependents.
  • Alien Registration Card.

Primary IDs must contain your photo, be valid, and be unexpired.

Secondary ID may be:

  • U.S. Social Security card.
  • Debit/(ATM) or Credit card.
  • Any type of identification included in the Primary ID list.

Secondary IDs must contain your signature and be unexpired.
